Honoring Local Heroes
This image, which features a local New England cemetery as its subject, is complete with the region’s scenic fall foliage as a backdrop and honorary American flag in the foreground. As a whole, it’s a powerful tribute to American veterans that helps to preserve a national treasure.
Summers by the Sea
The vibrant yellow flowers pictured here stand against the grey Connecticut shoreline, bringing a sense of energy and excitement to the image and contrasting the dull and dismal background.
A Printer’s Legacy
While it may appear to be simple at first glance, there’s far more to this printer’s box than meets the eye. Not only is it a symbol of typography and design, but also a hidden tribute to my grandfather, a lifelong master of the trade. Take a closer look and you just might be able to spot the letters “P” and “A” spelled out in between the shadows of the tray.

This array of artist’s tools and devices provides an interesting take on several graphic elements, like shape, texture, and color, all while suggesting the amount of devotion and effort that is taken to complete each creation. The darkness surrounding the drafting table causes the viewer to focus on the picture’s subject.
